Bu çalışmanın amacı, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi’nin dört fakültesinde (Fen, Edebiyat, Mühendislik ve İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakülteleri) zorunlu dersler kapsamında verilen İngilizce derslerine ve İngilizceye karşı öğrencilerin tutum düzeylerini ölçekte yer alan boyutlar açısından belirlemektir. Ayrıca, İngilizce dersine ve İngilizceye karşı tutumların okudukları fakülte, okudukları bölüm ve cinsiyet değişkenleri ile arasındaki anlamlı farklılık olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evreni, fakültelerin birinci sınıfında zorunlu İngilizce derslerini almakta olan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem ise basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 316 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Sonuçlar, genel olarak öğrencilerin İngilizceye karşı kullanışlık ve öğretmen boyutlarında ilgi ve güven boyutlarına göre daha olumlu tutuma sahip olduklarını göstermektedir. Ayrıca cinsiyet değişkeni açısından anlamlı farklılık olmamasına karşın fakülte ve bölüm değişkenleri açısından anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
the aim of this study is to determine the fen literature engineering and iktisadi and administrative sciences faculty in four faculties of karamanoğlu methmetbey university in terms of the dimensions that are included in the english courses and the attitude levels of students against english are determined in terms of the dimensions that they have read in the faculties of their attitudes against english and english are meaningful differences between the chapters and gender variables that they have studied. the stage of research is formed by students who take the english lessons in the first class of the faculty, while the sample method, with simple selectionless sampling method, consists of 316 countries in terms of interest in terms of the general language and lack of a change in terms of interest in terms of the language and a variety
The purpose of this study is to determine the affective attitudes of the students according to the factors of the scale towards English as a foreign language within the scope of common compulsory courses in four faculties. The study also attempts to examine to what extent attitudes of students towards English and English course are related to, their faculties, their departments and their sex. The population of the study is all the students who take English lessons in the first year of the faculties at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. The sample is 316 students who are chosen by simple random sampling method. The results indicate that students have more positive attitudes at usability and teacher factors than interest and confidence factors. Besides, it is determined that there is significant differences with regards to faculty and department variables while there is not a significant difference in the sense of gender variable.
