Abstract:

Thetitle of Ahbâr al-iber which is in the biographical and bibliographic works neitherits name norauthor’s name unprecedented, isa religious-moral mathnawi that consist from fifty-two stories. Many of thesestories in this mathnawi which have been previously described in as verse orprosaically at thev arioussacred book sespecially in the Qur'an and other sources.The Ahbâr al-iber which is written at theend of the 17th century (1695-96) when therise in our literary literature continued by contrast the social deterioration began in the Ottoman State. Many of thestoriesthathavebeenwritten in verse orwritten in variousformsbefore is writtenbyZa'îfîwith a newmethodwhich has been taken as a verse to be included with the introduction, developmentand conclusion sections. Inthisstudy; The information about Za'îfî from Bayburt and his work Ahbâr al-iber was given, then selections which were made from the stories in the book , are done.Selected stories which have been classified as sincerity, justice, wisdom, value of promise, sidk, parental rights, reliance on work, repentanceandloss of greed.
