Abstract:

XVII. Yüzyılda yetişmiş önemli bilim adamlarından olan ve Hezâr-fenn lakabıyla tanınan Hüseyin Efendi tıp, tarih, dil, coğrafya, devlet teşkilatı ve tasavvuf alanlarında eserlere sahiptir. Hezârfen Hüseyin Efendi’nin batılı kaynaklara müracaat ederek hazırladığı ve genel bir tarih niteliği taşıyan Tenkîhü’t Tevârih-i Mülûk en önemli eserleri arasında bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Tenkîh-i Tevârih-i Mülûk İsimli Eserinin Fransız Milli Kütüphanesinde Supplement Turc 137 Arşiv Numarası İle Kayıtlı Nüshası esas alınmak suretiyle, eserin tanıtımı yapılmıştır.

Abstract:

Hüseyin Efendi one of the most important scientists trained in XVII century and is known as Hezâr-fenn, has works in the field of medicine, history, language, geography, government agencies and mysticism. Tenkîhü’t Tevârih-i Mülûk has a historical quality and it was prepared with examining the western sources by Hezerfen Hüseyin Efendi. It is also among his most important works. In this study the work named Tenkîh-i Tevârih-i Mülûk was introduced by refering its copy with Supplement Turk 137 Archieve number in French National Library.
