Eski çağlarda Azerbaycan Türklerinin kadına olan yaklaşımı yüce olmuştur. Vatanına anavatan diye hitap eden Azerbaycan Türkleri kadın anayı vatan kadar sevgili, yeri doldurulmaz bilmiş ve onun şerefini vatan şerefi sanmıştır. Ancak Arap-Fars kültürünün etkisi altında zaman içinde kadına olan bakış açısı değişmiş, bir zamanlar erkekle eşit durumda olan kadın ataerkil toplumun baskısı altında kalmıştır. Çağdaş Azerbaycan’da kadınların toplum hayatına katılımı sınırlı olmakla, erken yaşta baskı altında evlendirilmeler, cinsiyet seçimi amacıyla kız çocuklarının kürtaj edilmesi yaygın hale gelmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı Azerbaycan Türk kadınına olan yaklaşımın zaman içinde değişmesi ve günümüz toplumundaki şeklini almasının nedenlerini araştırmaktır. Çalışmada son yılların istatistik verilerine dayanılarak Azerbaycan kadınlarının devlet yönetimi, kamu ve özel sektöre katılımı, onların çağdaş toplumdaki konumu, sorunları ele alınacaktır. Aynı zamanda son yıllarda Azerbaycan’da nüfus yapısındaki dengesizliğin oluşmasına neden olan kız çocuklarının yüksek oranlarda kürtaj edilmesi ile ilgili veriler analiz edilecek ve sorunun demografik, toplumsal sonuçlarına dikkat çekilecektir.
In ancient times, the attitude of the Azerbaijani Turks to women was high. The Azerbaijani Turks, who called her motherland, knew her motherland as loving as her motherland, the place was unfilled and thought her honor was her motherland honor. But under the influence of the Arab-Fars culture, the perspective of the woman has changed over time, and the woman, once equal to the man, has remained under the pressure of the patriarchal society. In modern Azerbaijan, the participation of women in the social life has become limited, the early age of marriage under pressure, the abortion of girls for the purpose of gender choice has become widespread. The aim of the study is to explore the reasons why the approach to the Azerbaijani Turkish woman changes over time and takes its shape in today’s society. Based on the statistics of recent years, the study will address the issues of Azerbaijani women’s government, participation in the public and private sector, their position in contemporary society. The data on high rates of abortions of girls that have caused the development of imbalances in the population structure in Azerbaijan in recent years will also be analyzed and the demographic and social consequences of the problem will be attracted.
Since ancient times, the attitude of Azerbaijani Turks to the woman was sublime. Calling the home country as motherland, Azerbaijani Turks believed that the woman is the same beloved and irreplaceable as the birthplace. The woman's honor for them was on a par with honor of the homeland. But under the influence of the Arab-Persian culture over time, attitudes towards woman have changed and a woman who was once on a par with the man remained under the pressure of a patriarchal society. In today's Azerbaijan women's participation in society is limited. Marriages at a young age under pressure of the family, abortion of girls in order to choose a baby's sex became spread phenomenon. The aim of the study is to identify the reasons of changes in the relation to the Azerbaijan woman. Based on the statistics of recent years will be examined in the article the issues of participation of Azerbaijani women in the public administration and in the private sector, their status in the modern society and the problems. In addition will be analyzed the data about the high level of abortions of girls in recent years, caused to the imbalance in the demographic structure of the population of Azerbaijan. This will drawn attention to the demographic and social consequences of the problem.
