Abstract:

The CHP, in the so-called period, developed measures in order to solve the economic and political problems faced by Turkey and to reestablish the authority in the country. It put forward these principles as Party’s principles, sought to solve questions through developing national ideological approaches, and made the Party’s ideology state’s ideology. It also legally secured its principles peculiar to the state and to the whole Turkish society. The study on the topic of “the Republican Public Party’s étatism in the context of 1931 and 1935 congresses” had been done regarding the ideologies and methods developed by the Republican Public Party (CHP) to protect and continue to maintain its power between the years 1930 and 1937 in Turkey. In the study, equalization process of Single Party to the state was specified by examining the 1931 CHP congresses in the context of pre-congresses and post-congresses developments.
