Bu çalışma görme engelli öğrencilerin gelecekte bir meslek sahibi olmaya yönelik plan yaparken yaşayabileceği ya da yaşadığı kaygıları belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Kaygı, gerçek ya da hayali durumlar hakkında yaşanılan aşırı korku ve endişe şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır. Kaygının ana sebebi endişedir. Yani belirsiz durum, sonuç veya olaylar hakkında fazlaca düşünmektir. Aşırı endişe atıl yani verimsiz bir durumdur. Çünkü bu durum bir sorunu çözmek için harekete geçme yeteneğini etkileyebilir. Çalışmanın amacı, Erzurum Yakutiye Görme Engelliler Orta Okulunda öğrenim gören görme yetersizliği olan bireylerin geleceğe yönelik planlarının neler olduğunu ve planlarını gerçekleştirme çabasının onlarda sebep olduğu kaygı düzeyini belirlemektir.
