Bu çalışmanın amacı; BİST 100 endeksinde yer alan işletmelerden kaçının “misyon” ve “vizyon” bildirimleri içerisinde “çevre” kavramına yer verdiğine ilişkin durum tespiti yapmaktadır. Ayrıca “çevre” kavramının işletmelerin “misyon” ve “vizyon” bildirimlerinde ne şekilde ifade edildiği araştırmanın diğer bir amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için BİST 100 endeksinde yer alan işletmelerin (100 adet) internet sitelerinde bulunan “misyon” ve “vizyon” bildirimleri taranmıştır. İnternet sitelerinden ulaşılamayan misyon ve “vizyon” bildirimlerinin temini için ilgili işletmelerin Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformunda yer alan faaliyet raporlarındaki “misyon” ve “vizyon” ifadeleri çalışma kapsamına dahil edilmiştir. Böylece endekste yer alan bütün işletmelerin “misyon” ve “vizyon” bildirimlerine ulaşılmıştır. The fundamental aim of this study is that determine the situation of how many enterprises which rank among BİST 100 index, give place to the concept of environment in the context of ‘mission’ and ‘vision’. Besides, another objective of this study is that how the concept of ‘environment’ is defined in the statements of ‘vision’ and ‘mission’ in businesses.
