Abstract:

There is a close and reciprocal relationship between environmental issues and economy. While growing economical activities cause environmental problems, environmental issues affect sustainable economic growth negatively as well. in other words, economic development enhances pollution and pollution increases the social and economic cost of economic growth. This study examine the relationship between income and environmental pollution for 10 country: China, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and South Africa.
