Bugün dünyada Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti, Azerbaycan Cumhuriyeti, Kazakistan Cumhuriyeti, Kırgızistan Cumhuriyeti, Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti ve Türkmenistan Cumhuriyeti olmak üzere yedi bağımsız Türk devleti bulunmaktadır. Bu bağımsız Türk devletlerine Özerk Türk Cumhuriyetlerini ve değişik coğrafyalarda farklı devletlerin bünyesinde yaşamlarını sürdüren Türkleri de eklersek yaklaşık olarak 230-250 milyon civarında Türk nüfusun dünyada yaşadığını söyleyebiliriz. Türk Cumhuriyetleri bağımsızlıklarını kazanmaya başladıkları günden itibaren aralarında askerî, siyasi, ekonomik, kültürel ve sportif alanlarda işbirliği yoluna gitmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte son yıllarda dünyada yaşanan siyasi ve sosyo-ekonomik gelişmeler Türk cumhuriyetleri ve Türk toplulukları arasındaki işbirliğinin, iyi niyetli çabalara rağmen, istenilen düzeyde gerçekleşmediğini göstermektedir. Bu durumun birçok sebebi bulunmaktadır. Kanaatimizce Türk Cumhuriyetleri ve akraba toplulukları arasında gönül birliğinin, duygu birliğinin, ülkü birliğinin ve daha kapsayıcı anlamda kültür birliğinin tam anlamıyla sağlanamamış olması bu sebeplerin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Kültür birliğinin sağlanmasında edebiyatın toplumsal işlevinden faydalanılabilir. Kültür taşıyıcısı ve aktarıcısı olması yönüyle edebiyat, önemli bir güce sahiptir. Türk dünyasının birçok sözlü ve yazılı ürünü edebiyat aracılığıyla farklı coğrafyalarda yaşayan Türklere etkili bir biçimde ulaştırılabilir. Bu çalışmada, dille yapılan bir sanat olan edebiyatın toplumda ortak duygu, heyecan ve coşku oluşturma; toplum bireylerini ortak paydada buluşturma ve birleştirme gibi etkileyici gücünden yararlanıldığı takdirde Türk Cumhuriyetleri ve akraba topluluklar arasındaki bütünleşmenin ve kaynaşmanın daha hızlı ve daha kalıcı olacağı ele alınmıştır.
Today there are seven independent Turkish states in the world, including the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Northern Cyprus, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkmenistan. If we add to these independent Turkish states the Autonomous Turkish Republics and the Turks who continue to live within different states in different geographies, we can say that around 230-250 million Turkish people live in the world. The Turkish Republics have started cooperating in military, political, economic, cultural and sports areas since the beginning of their independence. However, the political and socio-economic developments in the world in recent years show that cooperation between the Turkish republics and the Turkish communities, despite goodwill efforts, did not occur at the desired level. There are many reasons for this situation. The basis of these reasons is that the unity of heart, the unity of emotions, the unity of the country and the cultural unity in a more comprehensive sense have not been fully secured. The social function of literature can be benefited by the cultural union. Literature has an important power to be a culture carrier and translator. Many verbal and written products of the Turkish world can be effectively transmitted to Turks living in different geographics through literature. In this study, literature, which is a language-made art, has been discussed that if it is exploited by its impressive power, such as creating common feelings, enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the society; if it is exploited by its impressive power, such as meeting and unifying individuals in the common part, the integration and cohesion between the Turkish Republics and related communities will be faster and more durable.
Today, there are seven independent Turkish states as Turkish Republic, Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, Azerbaijan Republic, Kazakhstan Republic, Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan Republic and Türkmenistan Republic. in addition to these independent Turkish states, including the Autonomous Turkish Republics and the Turks living in other states in various geographical settings, it is likely to assert that 230-250 millions of Turks live all over the world. Since the time the Turkish Republics started to gain their independence, they have adopted a number of military, political, economical, cultural and sportive cooperation. However, recent political and socioeconomic developments in the world show that the expectations could not be met ideally, in spite of the good will efforts among Turkish states and communities. Certainly, the limitations in achieving the desired level have a number of reasons. İt seems that, limitations in providing the unification of emotions, ideals, and in broader terms, culture form the base for these reasons. The social function of literature can be utilized in the provision of cultural unity. Literature, culture carrier and transmitter has in terms of being a important power. Many verbal and written products of the Turkish world can be effectively transmitted to the Turks living in different geographies through literature.This study aims at stating that the integration and contraction among Turkish states and communities will be faster and long lasting by benefiting from the effect of literature in forming common feelings, excitement and unification, as literature is an art of language.
