Bu araştırmada, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı ilkokullarda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin günümüzdeki hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyaçlarının hangi alan ve konularda ne düzeyde yoğunlaştığı ve bu ihtiyaçların öğretmenlerin kişisel özelliklerine göre ne tür farklılıklar gösterdiğinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nicel yöntemlerden tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın örneklemi, İzmir, Aydın, Afyon ve Uşak il merkezlerinde çalışan ve tabakalı örnekleme yoluyla seçilen 500 sınıf öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin sonuçları; sınıf öğretmenlerinin “genel kültür bilgisi” ve meslek bilgisi alanlarına ilişkin hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyaçları ortalaması “ara sıra” düzeyinde; alan bilgisi dâhilinde ise “nadiren” ve “ara sıra” düzeyinde hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyaçları olduklarıdır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin ölçme ve değerlendirme ile ilgili dört maddeye “ara sıra” düzeyinde hizmet içi eğitim oldukları sonucuna ulaşılırken, ölçme ve değerlendirme konusu içerisinde yer alan diğer beş maddeye “asla” düzeyinde hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyaçları oldukları görülmüştür. Teknoloji ve materyal tasarım konusu dâhilinde yer alan iki maddeye sınıf öğretmenleri “asla” düzeyinde cevap verirken diğer maddelere “ara sıra” düzeyinde hizmet içi eğitim ihtiyaçları oldukları cevabını vermişlerdir.
This study aims to determine in what fields and subjects the current service education needs of class teachers in the primary schools associated with the Ministry of National Education are focused and what kind of differences these needs show according to the personal characteristics of teachers. The sample of the research in which the scanning model is used from Nicel methods consists of 500 class teachers who work in İzmir, Aydın, Afyon and Uşak province centers and are selected through layer sampling. The results of the data obtained within the framework of the research are that class teachers are in the middle of the service education needs in the fields of "general cultural knowledge" and "professional knowledge" and in the fields of knowledge they are in the middle of the service education needs in the fields of "rare" and "rare". The four matters relating to measurement and evaluation of classmates have come to the conclusion that they are in-service training at the "render" level, while the other five matters in the subject of measurement and evaluation have been found that they are in-service training at the "nothing" level. To the two subjects in the subject of technology and material design, classmates answered at the level "no time" while the other subjects answered at the level "render" that they needed service education at the level.
This study was aimed to form a model suggestion of an in-service training for the classroom teachers’ by finding out the areas and the topics of the in service training needs of the primary school classroom teachers working at the Ministry of Education focus on and how these needs differentiate according to the personal characteristics of the teachers. The sampling of the study where the survey model and the quantitative method were used consists of 500 classroom teachers working at the city centers of Izmir, Aydın, Afyon and Uşak and they were chosen by the stratified sampling method. The results of the data obtained from the research; the average of in-service training needs of primary school teachers regarding “sometimes”level, general knowledge of culture al and occupational knowledge is culture occasionally class; within the knowledge of the field, they are ”rarely” and “sometimes” in-service training needs. While it was concluded that classroom teachers had occasional in-service training at four levels related to measurement and evaluation, it was observed that they had ”never“ in-service training needs in the five items included in the measurement and evaluation subject. Two items in the field of technology and material design have responded to the ”never” level of classroom teachers, while they have responded to the “occasional ”in-service training needs.
