Kadına karşı şiddet olgusuna akrabalık sistemi, toplumsal cinsiyet ve kadının kütüğü bağlamında bakış
2019

Abstract:

A look at the phenomenon of violence against women in the context of the family system, social gender and women's mass

Abstract:

In the social, political and economic fields, in family and couples life, conflicting relations between men and women are observed. Intergender conflicts can be explained by different reasons, such as women's pressure and violent behavior, the use of the man's physical power, personality disorders. However, clinical anthropology argues that clinical cases enable the individual to analyze and acquire information about their social structure and function. In this context, structural processes such as the social structure and the system of relativity that prepare the ground for the conflicting women and men relations should be taken into account. The belonging relativity system defines its positions in the soya bonding and descendance, the rule of marriage and settlement and in the terminology of relativity for men and women. These characteristics are associated with the biological gender through social representations related to the child's construction. Atherical and paternal social structure and relativity system continues through the man. Therefore, when the man remains in a fixed and holding position, the woman becomes circular and belonging to the position. The man is the owner of the mass in the family system and in the population records. The woman does not have the body, but remains in the body of her father or husband. These characteristics are transformed into social gender characteristics for men and women. The female behavior questioning the man's possession and the woman's autonomy are at risk of returning to the woman as violence and pressure. This situation should be taken into account, especially in the laws regulating women and men’s relationships. The laws that regulate the relationships between women and men without the formation of awareness associated with this structural state and forced forces generate tensions in the identity of men and women.

Abstract:

Conflicting male and female relations are observed in the social, political and economical areas, in the family and couple’s life. Gender conflict can be explained by different reasons such as pressure and violence against women, use of men’s physical force and personality disorders. Neverthless, clinical anthropology argues that clinical cases allow to analyse and obtain information about the individual, social structure and process. In this context, it is necessary to take account the structural processess such as the social structure and kinship system that prepare the ground for conflicting women and men relations. The belonging kinship system identifies the paternity and continuing bloodline, marriage and settlement rule and positions in the kinship terminology of male and female. It relates these features to their biological sexes through social represantations related to the construction of the child. Patriarchal and paternal social structure and continuing bloodline in the kinship system continue through men. Thus, while the male remains stationary and possession position, woman becomes circular and in the belonging position. Male is the owner of the pedigree on kinship system and register of persons. On the other hand woman has no pedigree and remains register of her father or her husband. These features turn into gender characteristics for men and women. Women’s behaviors that question the ownership of men and women’a autonomy have the risk of turning to women as violence and pressure. In particular, the laws regulating relationships between men and women should take this into account. The laws regulating the relations between men and women without being aware of this structural situation are causing tension in the identity of men and women.
