Beden Eğitimi Öğretmen Adaylarının Akademik Akran Desteklerinin Diğer Öğretmen Adaylarıyla Karşılaştırılması (Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Örneği)

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Beden Eğitimi, Sosyal Bilgiler ve İlköğretim Matematik öğretmenliği bölümü öğretmen adaylarının akademik akran desteklerini etkileyen örgütsel faktörlerin bazı değişkenlere göre incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma tarama modelde tasarlanmış ve tabakalı örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenen ve gönüllü olan 300 öğretmen adayının katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacı ile Arslan ve Akın (2014) tarafından geliştirilen Öğrenci Akademik Destek Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Ölçek; Bilgisel Destek, Saygı Destek, Motivasyon Destek ve Rahatlama Desteği olarak 4 alt boyut ve toplam 15 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğe ait cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 0.82 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçekten elde edilebilecek puan15 ile 75 puan arasında değişmektedir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS (ver.22.00) paket programı kullanılmıştır. Veriler normal dağılıma uygunluk gösterdiğinden (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), veriler çözümlenirken Anova, Tuckey ve t testi kullanılarak yanılma düzeyi .05 olarak alınmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretmen adaylarının ölçekten elde ettikleri toplam puan ve alt boyut puan ortalamalarının cinsiyetlerine göre yapılan karşılaştırmalarında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunamamıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının yaşlarına göre elde ettikleri ölçek alt boyut ve toplam puanları karşılaştırıldığında, bilgisel destek ve rahatlama desteği alt boyut puanları arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this research is to study the teachers’ candidates in the Department of Physical Education, Social Information and Primary Mathematics teaching according to some variables of organizational factors affecting academic fellow support. This research was carried out with the participation of 300 teachers candidates who were designed in the scan model and determined according to the layer sampling method. The Student Academic Support Scale, developed by Arslan and Akın (2014) for the purpose of gathering data in the research, has been applied. The scale consists of 4 sub-dimensions as Information Support, Respect Support, Motivation Support and Relax Support and a total of 15 items. The cronbach alpha reliability ratio for the scale was 0.82. The scores that can be obtained are between 15 and 75 points. The SPSS (ver.22.00) package program was used to evaluate the data. Since the data is compatible with normal distribution (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), the error level is taken as .05 using the Anova, Tuckey and t tests while the data is solved. According to the findings obtained, there were no significant differences in the comparisons of the total scores that the teacher candidates obtained from the scale and the sub-dimensional scores average according to the gender. When comparing the scale sub-dimensions and total scores that teachers candidates obtain according to their age, there were significant differences between the scale sub-dimensions of knowledge support and relaxation support.

Comparison Of The Academic Support Perceptions Of The Physical Education and Sport Teacher Candidates With Other Teacher Candidates

The aim of this research is to examine the organizational factors affecting the academic peer support of the teacher candidates of Physical Education, Social Sciences and Elementary Mathematics Language Teaching departments according to some variables. This research was carried out with the participation of 300 teacher candidates who were designed in the screening model and identified and volunteered according to stratified sampling method. Student Academic Support Scale developed by Arslan and Akın (2014) was applied to collect ing data in the research. Scale; Information Support, Respect Support, Motivation Support and Relaxation Support consists of 4 sub dimensions and totally 15 items. The cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.82. The score that can be obtained from the scale varies between 15 and 75 points. SPSS (ver.22.00) package program was used in the evaluation of the data. Since the data showed normal distributions (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), in analyzing Anova, Tuckey and t test. Were used and , the significance level was taken as .05 According to the findings, there were no significant differences in the gender of the total score and subscale scores obtained from the scale by the teacher candidates. When the scale subscale and total scores obtained according to the ages of the teacher candidates were compared, significant differences were found between the information support and comfort support subscale scores.
