Abstract:

Abstract:

Objective: In this research, it is aimed to keep the intelligence levels related to the survival of university students. Materials and Methods: A total of 401 students attending Ahi Evran University School of Physical Education and Sports, Sports Management, Physical Education Teacher Training and Coaching Department were admitted to this descriptive study. The data of the study were collected between 01.May - 01.June 2017. Questionnaire and Emotional Intelligence Scale were used to collect the data. Results: When the emotional intelligence score of the class was compared in the study, it was found that the emotional intelligence score of the fourth grade readers was higher than those of the other class (p = 0.005). Compared to general health status and emotional intelligence score, emotional intelligence score of those who perceived health status was higher than others (p = 0.025). No statistically significant difference was found between the other socio-demographic characteristics and emotional intelligence score (p> 0.05). Conclusion: It was found that the emotional intelligence scores of the participants who perceived health status were higher than the others, and the students who read the fourth grade were higher than those who read the other class.
