Harezm Türkçesi eserlerinden olan Rabguzî’nin Kısasü’l-Enbiyâ adlı eseri, dil ve edebiyat tarihi açısından oldukça önemli bir yere sahiptir. Mensur olarak kaleme alınmış olan eserde manzum kısımlar da mevcuttur. Eserin birkaç nüshası olmasına rağmen iyi korunmuş ve tam olması sebebiyle çalışmalar genellikle Londra nüshasına dayanmaktadır. Eser üzerindeki ilk çalışma İlminskiy’e (1859) aittir. İlminskiy çalışması içeriği itibarı ile KE’nin özel kütüphanelerdeki nüshaları da dâhil olmak üzere bütün nüshalarını içeren bir çalışmadır. KE’yi çeşitli yönleriyle inceleyen birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızın konusunu, Aysu Ata tarafından yayımlanan metinden hareketle eserde yer alan iki ve ikiden fazla farklı yazımların tespiti ve bunların değerlendirilmesi oluşturmaktadır. Temel amaç eserde yer alan kelimelerin ikili kullanımlarının tespitiyle eserin dili hakkında bir bakış açısı kazandırmak ve eserin yazıldığı dönemin fonetik özelliklerini göstermek olacaktır. Karahanlıcadan doğan ve Çağataycaya geçiş evresi olan Harezm Türkçesi her iki kaynaktan beslenmesi sebebiyle iki döneme ait ses özelliklerini de bünyesinde barındırır. Bu noktada söz konusu dönem eserlerinde aynı sözcük ve ekin birden fazla şekliyle karşılaşılmıştır. KE metninde bu durum daha da belirginleşerek aynı sayfada hatta aynı cümlede farklı iki yazılışlara tesadüf edilmiştir. Eserin fonetik yapısının incelenmesi ve yazıldığı dönemin tespiti bakımından kayda değer önem taşımasıyla birlikte çalışmanın bu noktada temel amacı zengin bir dil malzemesine sahip olan KE’nin yazılmış olduğu dönemin ses ve şekil bilgisi bağlamında ikili kullanım özelliklerini tespit etmek ve mevcut söz varlığına katkıda bulunmaktır.

Rabguzî’s work Kısasü’l-Enbiyâ, which is a piece in Khorezmian Turkish has a significant place in the history of language and literature. There are parts written in verse in this prosaic piece. While there are a few copies of the piece, studies are usually based on the copy in London as it is well preserved and complete. The first study on the piece was conducted by Ilminsky (1859). This study is concerned with all copies of Kısasü’l Enbiyâ including ones in private libraries. Many studies which investigate the piece in various aspects have been conducted so far. The purpose of this study is to determine and interpret parts with two or more different orthographies, based on the text published by Aysu Ata. Remarks will be made on whether examples in different orthographies reflect the time the piece was written, in terms of phonetics and morphology. The main purpose is to bring in a different approach about the piece’s linguistic aspects by locating dual usage of the words in the text, and show the phonetical characteristics of the era the piece was written in. Harezm Turkish, derived from Karahanlıca and the transition stage to Cağatayca, has the sound characteristics of two periods because it is fed from both sources. In this point, in the period works, the same word and affix have been encountered in more than one form. In the KE text, this situation became more clear and two different spellings coincided with each other on the same page. Examining the phonetic structure of the work and since it carries a considerable importance in terms of determination of its wirtten period, in this point, main purpose of this study is to determine the dual usage characteristics of KE in the context of phonic and structure information of its written period and to contribute to the current speech existence.
