Abstract:

Bu çalışmada günümüzde toplumları ve bireyleri birbirine yaklaştıran ve onlar arasında her türlü diyalogun ya da iletişimin kurulmasını sağlayan vazgeçilmez bir etkinlik olan çeviri işlemi ve çeviri bilimi alanında gerçekleştirilen araştırmalar ele alınmıştır. 19. yüzyıldan 20. yüzyılın başların kadar çeviri bilimi konusunda önemli bulunan yerli ve yabancı birçok bilim insanının yapmış oldukları araştırmalar, ortaya koydukları kuramlar ve daha iyi bir çevirinin nasıl yapılabileceği konusundaki savlar aktarılmıştır.

This study discussed research in the field of translation process and translation science, which is an essential activity that today entails communities and individuals and enables the establishment of any kind of dialogue or communication between them. From the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, many domestic and foreign scientists, who have been important in the field of translation science, have made research, the theories they have revealed, and the arguments on how a better translation can be done.
