Tanzimat Fermanı ile birlikte Osmanlı’nın Batı medeniyetine dâhil olma çabası, fikir hayatından sosyal hayata çeşitli şekillerde yankı bulmuştur. Fatma Aliye Hanım’ın da eser verdiği Batılı tarzda roman, hikâye, makale, gazete ve dergi gibi türler edebiyatımızda bu dönemde görülmeye başlanmıştır. Birçok yazarımız eserlerinde insanların dine bakışlarını, onu nasıl ve ne ölçüde yaşadıklarını romanlarında işlemişlerdir. Tanzimat romancılarının 19. yüzyılda din algısını tespit etmek, dinin toplum içerisindeki algılanışlarını değerlendirmek, hem dönem gerçekliğini kavrama hem de roman ve toplum ilişkisi hakkında sonuçlara varmak için önem taşımaktadır. Fatma Aliye Hanım Türk edebiyatının ilk kadın romancısı olarak kabul görmektedir. Türk modernleşmesinin sembolü haline gelen kadın meselesi üzerinde geleneklere bağlı ve İslâmî bir bakış açısıyla durmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı Fatma Aliye Hanımın romanlarında din olgusunu hangi anlayış ve ölçüde ele aldığını tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla analiz sonuçları kendi içinde uygun alt başlıklarda tasnif edilerek verilmiştir. Çalışmada Fatma Aliye Hanım’ın, Ahmet Mithat Efendi ile birlikte yazdığı “Hayal ve Hakikat” adlı romanı ile “Muhadarat”, “Refet”, “Udî” ve “Enîn” romanları incelenmiştir. Çalışma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımında tarama modeli ile oluşturulmuş ve çalışma bulguları doküman analizi ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile ortaya konmuştur. Fatma Aliye Hanım’ın incelenen romanlarında İslami atmosfer hissedilir. Roman kişilerinin konuşmalarında ve davranışlarında, İslam’ın etkisi çok açık bir şekilde görülür. Romanlarda Osmanlı - Türk geleneğine ve İslâmî değerlere dayalı bir ahlak anlayışı vurgulanır. İslami unsurlar özellikle Muhadarat ve Refet romanlarında yoğun olarak görülmektedir.
Together with Tanzimat Ferman, the Ottoman’s effort to be incorporated into the Western civilization has found a rise in various ways from the life of the idea to the social life. Fatma Aliye also works in the Western style, such as novels, stories, articles, newspapers and magazines have begun to be seen in our literature in this period. Many of our writers have processed people’s religious views in their works, how and to what extent they live it. Identifying the religious perception of Tanzimat novels in the 19th century is important to evaluate the perceptions of religion within society, both to understand the period reality and to find out about the romance and the relationship between society. Fatma Aliye is recognized as the first female novelist in Turkish literature. The female issue, which has become the symbol of modernization in Turkey, has been linked to traditions and with an Islamic perspective. The purpose of this study is to identify what understanding and extent the religious phenomenon has been addressed by Mrs. Fatma Aliye in her novels. For this purpose, the results of the analysis are given in the appropriate subtitles. In the study, Fatma Aliye Mrs. wrote with Ahmet Mithat Efendi the novel "Dream and Truth" and the novel "Muhadarat", "Refet", "Udî" and "Enîn" were studied. The study was created with the scanning model in the quality research approach and the study findings were collected with document analysis. The data obtained was revealed by content analysis. Fatma Aliye’s novel feels the Islamic atmosphere. In the speeches and behaviors of Roman people, the influence of Islam is very clearly seen. Romanes emphasize a moral understanding based on the Ottoman-Turkish tradition and Islamic values. Islamic elements are widely seen especially in the Muhadarat and Refet novels.
Ottoman’s attempt to be included in the western civilisation with the Tanzimat took place in various ways from intellectual to social life. Western genres of novel, story, article, newspaper and periodical in which Fatma Aliye Hanım also had works started to be seen in our literature in this period. Many of our authors discussed people’s view on religion and how and to what extend it is lived in their works. To determine the Tanzimat novelists’ perception of religion in the 19th century, to evaluate its perception in society is critically important for both getting the gist of the period’s reality and drawing a conclusion in connection of the novel and society. Fatma Aliye Hanım is widely acknowledged as the first woman novelist of the Turkish Literature. She dwelt upon the issue of woman, which became the symbol of Turks modernization ,in a traditional and İslamic point of view. The aim of this work is to identify how and to what extend the issue of religion is discussed in Fatma Aliye Hanım’s novels. For this purpose the analysis results are all given by classifying under suitable subtitles. Fatma Aliye Hanım’s novels called “Hayal ve Hakikat”, which she wrote with Ahmet Mithat Efendi and “Muhadarat”, “Refet”, “Udî” and “Enîn” were analyzed in this study. The work is created with scanning model in qualitative research approach and evidences of work are collected together with document analysis. Collected datum is put forward with content analysis. Islamic tone is perceived in Fatma Aliye Hanım’s analyzed novels. İslamic impression is seen appearantly in the dialogues and attitudes of the novel’s characters. Perception of morality based on the Ottoman - Turkish tradition and Islamic merit is emphasized in her novels. Islamic components are intensely seen particularly in her novels of Muhadarat and Refet.
