Türkçede Ortak Köklü Kelimelerde Anlam Farklılaşması: Tavan Ve Taban Örneği

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, ortak köklü olmasına rağmen zamanla anlam ve biçim bakımından farklılaşan taban ve tavan kelimeleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Köken bilgisi sözlükleri ve diğer sözlükler yardımıyla taban ve tavan kelimelerinin Eski Türkçeden günümüze kadar olan kullanımları ve çağdaş Türk lehçelerindeki karşılıkları verilmiştir. Anlamsal ve biçim bakımından farklılaşmasının nedenlerini Türkiye Türkçesindeki diğer ortak köklü kelimelerle karşılaştırıp bugün kullandığımız tavan kelimesinin köken olarak taban kelimesinden geldiği ispatlanmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract:

In this study, it has been insisted on words of taban and tavan which has become different in terms of sense and form in time, although it shares common root. The words of tavan and taban of usages, from old Turkish to nowadays, and their equivalents in contemporary Turkish dialects have been given by the help of etymology dictionaries and other dictionaries. It has been tried to be proven that word of tavan has come word of taban originally by being compared reasons of differential semantic and formal with other mutual rooted words in Turkish.
