Küreselleşen dünyada yükseköğretim kurumları kültürün ve değerlerin gelişmesinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Avrupa Birliği’ne üyelik sürecinde bulunan Türkiye’nin yükseköğretim kurumlarındaki akademik ve eğitimsel standartlarının Avrupa Birliği’ne üye olan ülkelerdeki yükseköğretim standartlarıyla uyum içerisinde olması önem arz etmektedir. Yükseköğretim kurumlarındaki spor eğitimi programları, spor hizmetlerinin sağlanmasında, standartların yükseltilmesi ve kalitenin korunmasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu kapsamda, Avrupa Birliği spor bilimlerinde Avrupa yükseköğretiminin uyumlu hale getirilmesi amacıyla AEHESIS (Spor Bilimleri Eğitimini Avrupa Yükseköğretiminde Uyumlaştırma) Tematik Ağ Projesi’ni yürürlüğe koymuştur. Bu projede, sporla ilgili dört alan (“Spor Yönetimi”, “Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliği”, “Sağlık ve Zindelik”, “Antrenörlük Eğitimi”) tanımlanmıştır. Bu projeye ortak kurum ve kuruluşlardan gelen spor eğitim uzmanları, çeşitli toplantı ve konferanslarda oluşturdukları metinlerle, spor eğitiminde yeni müfredatların geliştirilmesine yönelik ortak standartlar belirlemeye çalışmışlardır. Bu doğrultuda, Türkiye’nin yükseköğretim düzeyinde spor eğitimi hizmeti veren kurumları, topluma daha iyi spor hizmeti sunabilmek için spor eğitimi sistemleri ve müfredat yapılarını yeniden gözden geçirmeleri gerekmektedir. Türkiye’de bu yapılanmanın başlatılması, yükseköğretim düzeyinde verilen spor eğitimi için önemli fırsatlar sunacaktır. Spor eğitiminin yeniden düzenlenmesi, kalitesinin yükseltilmesi, daha verimli ve daha kullanışlı bir yapıya kavuşturulmasını sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada, AEHESIS Tematik Ağ Projesi kapsamında yer alan spor eğitimi alanlarının müfredat yapıları incelenmiştir. Türkiye’nin bu proje kapsamındaki spor eğitimi alanlarına uyumu tartışılarak bir dizi öneriler sunulmuştur.

In the global world higher education institutions has an important impact on the development of culture and values. In this perspective it is important for Turkey which is in the process of accession to the European Union should increase the level of its higher education standarts to the level of EU members’ higher education standarts. Sports Education Programs in higher education institutions have an important role in providing sports services, raising standarts and protection of the quality. In this context, European Union has applied theAEHESIS (Aligning a European Higher Education Structure In Sport Sciene) Thematic Network Project in order to adjust Europe’s sports education in higher education. In this project, these four sports-related fields (“Sports Management”, “Physical Education Teacher Department”, Health and Wellness”, “Coaching Education” was defined. Sports educatioan experts from the institutions and organizations that are the associate of this project tried to determine common standarts for the development new curriculums in sports education thorough texts that were formed at various meetings and conferences. In this line, Turkey should review its curriculum structures and sport education systems in order to offer better sport facilities to the society with the institutions which gives sport training at the level of higher education.Initiation of this structure in Turkey will provide important opportunities for the sports education that is given in the level of higher education. Reorganization of sports education and improving the quality will provide a more efficient and more useful structure. In this study, curriculum structure of health and wellnes within the scope of AEHESIS Thematic Network Project was examined. In addition, some suggestions were presented by arguing Turkey’s accordance to the field of sports education and curriculum within the scope of this project.
