Bu çalışma, ilkokul 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin 4+4+4 eğitim sisteminin uygulaması sonucunda yaşadıkları sorunları öğretmen görüşlerine dayalı olarak değerlendirilmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, çalışmada öğretmenlerin ilkokul 1. Sınıf öğrencilerinin 4+4+4 uygulaması sonucunda yaşadıkları sorunlar hakkındaki görüşlerinin dağılımına bakılmış ve bu görüşlerin öğretmenlerin “cinsiyet, mesleki kıdem, mezun oldukları bölüm, çalıştıkları okulun yerleşim yeri, birleştirilmiş sınıfta görev yapmaları” gibi değişkenler açısından anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediği incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2012–2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında Muğla il ve ilçelerinde görev yapmakta olan 102 ilkokul 1. sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve bu çalışma için araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen 5’li likert tipindeki “4+4+4 Eğitim Sisteminde 1. Sınıflarda Karşılaşılan Sorunlara İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri Anketi (2013)” kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda anketin bu çalışma için Cronbach Alpha değeri .90 olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, 4+4+4 eğitim sisteminin uygulaması sonucunda öğrencilerin yaşadıkları sorunlar hakkındaki öğretmen görüşleri çalışmanın değişkenleri arasından yalnızca “cinsiyet” değişkeni açısından kadınlar lehinde anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir. Ancak, öğretmen görüşleri çalışmanın diğer değişkenleri olan “mesleki kıdem, mezun oldukları bölüm, çalıştıkları okulun yerleşim yeri, birleştirilmiş sınıfta görev yapmaları” değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. 4+4+4 eğitim sisteminin uygulaması sonucunda öğrencilerin yaşadıkları sorunlar hakkındaki öğretmen görüşleri çalışmada ele alınan problem durumlarına göre farklılıklar gösterse de, öğretmenler her problem durumu için ağırlıklı olarak olumsuz görüş bildirmişlerdir.

This study aims to evaluate teachers’ opinions about the problems which the 1st grade students encountered as a result of 4+4+4 education system’s application. In accordance with this aim, the distribution of teachers’ opinions about the problems which the 1st grade students encountered as a result of 4+4+4 application and whether these opinions show a significant difference in terms of some variables such as “gender, seniority, graduation department, settlement of the school they work and their working in multi-grade class” are investigated. Descriptive survey model is applied in this study. The sample of this study consists of 102 first-grade teachers who work in the province and districts of Mugla in 2012-2013 school year. “Personal Data Form” and “Teachers’ Opinions about the Problems Encountered in 1st Grade Classes in 4+4+4 Education System Questionnaire (2013)”,a five point likert scale, which has been developed by the researches for this study, are applied as data collection tools. As a result of the analysis, the cronbach’s alpha of the questionnaire for this study is measured as .90. According to the results obtained from this study, while teachers’ opinions about the problems 1st grade students encountered as a result of 4+4+4 education system’s application only show a significant difference in terms of “gender”, which is on the favour of the women. However, teachers opinions show no significant difference in terms of “seniority, graduation department, settlement of the school they work and their working in multi-grade class” variables. Although teachers’ opinions about the problems the 1st grade students encountered as a result of 4+4+4 education system’s application differs with regard to the problem status that are dealt in the study, teachers have stated predominantly negative opinions for each problem status.
