Abstract:

Klasik Türk Edebiyatında Hz. Peygamber’i medheden ve onun mucizelerinden, özellikle mi’râc hadisesinden bahseden şiirler büyük bir yekûn oluşturmaktadır. Abstract:

In the classic Turkish literature the poems which is about praise of the Prophet Muhammad and his miracles particularly the ascension (mi`raj) consists of very big amount. Lexical meaning ascension is to rise and to ascend. As terminological it is a night journey (isra’), that the prophet Muhammad took during a single night around 621 according to Islamic tradition. İn this journey the prophet Muhammad ascended through the heavens, met with prophets and angels, conversed with God, and visited heaven and hell.
