Abstract:

Great poet of Turkish, symbol of love and tolerance, Yunus Emre lived in the last half of XIII. Century and at the beginning of XIV century. Yunus Emre, who invited the people to unity and love in a periodagitated with political and economic crisis in the Anatolian geography, is a man of heart whose reputation went beyond the centuries and borders. There are many people who came through the door of heart opened by Yunus in Anatolia. One of them is Hâce Muhammed Lutfî Efendi. Hâce Muhammed Lutfî Efendi, whose famous moniker was Efe or Alvarlı Efe, is a lord of knowledge and wisdom who lived between the years 1868-1956. Alvarlı Efe, known for the contribution he provided against those who wanted to be separatists in the East during the National Struggle, has many similarities with Yunus Emre in many ways. Many poems by Efe, who has a high degree of compassion and affection and is inseparable from humility and tolerance throughout his life, are carried out as hymns just as those of Yunus. The two poems by these two mystic poets, who connect their source of art to Islam and to its basic values, have remarkable similarity to eachother. There curring expressions there comes a time and will be one day in the poems in question are the elements of harmony revealing this similarity at first glance. These two poems that deal with transitions of the human being via contrasting life experiences illustrate the criterion of the artist's attitude towards life very well. This criterion is submission. In our study, we will comparethe poems in question in terms of the structural analysis.
