Abstract:

Ahmed-i Dâ'î with the second half of the 15th century lived in the first half of the century. The leading poet and translator Ahmed-i Dâ'î, as well as religious and literary works in several important scientific work has been translated into Turkish. The most important is Nasiruddin Tusi (1201-1274) 's short and concise, providing information about astronomy and astrology and the Risale-i Si Fasl (Thirty-episode Risale) made famous by the name of olan el-Muhtasar fî İlmi’t-Tencîm ve Marifeti’t-Takvîm(Astronomy and Calendar Information About Summary Book)'s work. Occurring in this work, which has been translated from Persian and thirty chapters, numerological calculations, Hijri date, Rumi, Persian and Jalal calendars, planets, signs, moon status, time types, and some astrology astronomy topics topics in a simple Turkish and transferred into sections. Translators like Ahmed-i Dâ'î, Arabic and other Islamic languages such as Persian translation of this kind are made, the settlement of science has been effective in Anatolia in a short period of time. In addition, some elements of the work because of the content of Islamic theology, philosophy and provided insight into the fields of science such as mathematics. New work in the field of astronomy for beginners is an important work in this area is well grasp. As flexible as possible in this study to contemporary Turkish translation of the work, work of art terms, their meanings, and the general terms of language features are studied on. Study of the Turkish history of science, the Turkish language, Turkish term language, astronomy and astrology resource areas will work.
