Eğitim Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Bilgisayar Destekli Uzaktan Eğitim Sistemi (Moodle) Memnuniyet Düzeyleri.
2013

Abstract:

Bununla birlikte öğrencilerin % 40,57’si şu an gördükleri eğitim programlarının uzaktan eğitim yönetim sistemiyle verilmesi için uygun olduğunu ifade ederken sadece % 18,29’u uygun olmadığı konusunda fikir beyan etmişlerdir.

Education Faculty Students’ Levels Of Satisfaction With The Computer-assisted Distance Education System (moodle)
2013

Abstract:

Due to the use and spread of distance education as an educational platform at universities, which integrates technology into education, it is now necessary to investigate students’ perceptions of this system. Students’ views about Moodle (Modular-Object-Oriented-Dynamic-Learning-Environment), a distance education system used to teach the courses to students which are found in their curricula education programs, influence their achievements in the courses they have taken with this system. The research sample of this study included 1050 students attending an Education Faculty in the academic years of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. As a result of this study, the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficients for the students’ levels of satisfaction with distance education were calculated as 0,94. It was found out that following their education given with the distance education management system, the majority of the students (76,57%) would prefer face-to-face education even if they had the opportunity to take distance education. In addition, 58,29% of the students preferred to take the courses in their department both via face-to-face education and via the distance education system (as a blended education system ). With respect to the variable of gender, no significant difference was found between the students’ levels of satisfaction with distance education, yet there was a significant difference at the significance level of p<0,05 between their preferences of the two teaching methods and their levels of computer use knowledge. Also, while 40,57% of all the students reported that their current curriculum education program was appropriate to the use of the distance education management, only 18,29% of them thought it was not.
