Abstract:

Bu çalışmada eski Türkçe metinlerden başlayarak günümüz Türk lehçelerinde ve Anadolu ağızlarında kullanılan gebe anlamındaki sözcükler ve bu sözcüklerin içerdiği anlam özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Türkçede tarihî lehçelere ait metinlerden başlayarak gebe anlamında çok sayıda sözcük kullanılmıştır. Bu sözcüklerin büyük çoğunluğu günümüzde -bir bölümü sınırlı bir alanda da olsa- yaşamaktadır. Ayrıca, eski dönemlerde rastlanmayan çok sayıda sözcük de gebe anlamını karşılamaktadır. Çalışmada gebelere ad vermede başvurulan anlatım yolları değerlendirilmiş; gebe anlamındaki sözcüklerin sayıca çok olmasının nedenleri sorgulanmıştır.

Abstract:

In this study, starting with ancient Turkish texts, the focus was on the words in the meaning of pregnancy used in today’s Turkish languages and in the Anadolu mouths and the characteristics of the meaning that these words contain. In Turkish, many words have been used in the meaning of pregnancy, starting with the texts of historical leeches. Most of these words live today – even if some are in a limited area. In addition, many words that are not found in ancient periods also meet the meaning of pregnancy. In the study, the methods of reference to pregnancies were assessed; the reasons why the words in pregnancy mean many were questioned.
