Abstract:

A novel is a type of literature about the author’s only event, the simple sum of the emotions he experiences about the situation or what he thinks. Everything that affects social life has found its reward in literature, mostly in the novel. From this point of view; "Multi-Partial Transition to Life (1946)", which is one of the important kilometers of the post-Republican Turkish social and political life, sees its reward in the Turkish novel, especially in the works of the 1930-1960s of the novelists who adopted the Social Realist art understanding. The purpose of this study is to make analysis and evaluation of why the Democratic Party, especially in the early years, is seen as a "hope" for the Turkish peasant in Samim Kocagöz's novel "The Snake Story", which is considered one of the Socialist Realist Turkish novelists.
