Günlük yaşantıda ve görsel sanatlarda resim ve yazı düşünce ve duyguları ifade etmede kullanılır. Sanatçı içinde yaşadığı çağın özelliklerinden istifade ederek, bireysel çıkarsamalarını yeteneklerini yaratıcı biçimde ortaya koyar. Sanatçı zihni ve sezgisel olarak dünyayı algılar yeteneği ile özgünlük taşıyan biçimlerle yapıtlarına soyut kavramlar düzeyinde biçimlendirerek ifadeye ulaşır. Bilimde ve sanatta soyut düşünce sanatçıyı kavramsal ve soyut dil kullanmaya zorunlu kıldı. Sanatta Kübizm ile başlayan bu dil De Stijl gibi soyut sanat akımları sanatçıların düşünme ve ifade biçimlerinde kökten değişimlere yol açtı. De Stijl sanatçılarının tipografiye kazandırdığı boyut kendilerinden sonraki ve günümüz sanatçılarına özgün ifade ve biçem kazandırmada ilham vermekte. Sanatçılar Tipografiyle biçim içerik bağlamında bildirişim semantiği, kavram ve kodlarına boyut kazandırma çabası içindedir. Tipografi sanatı günümüz görsel iletişimi dijital bağlamda intermediyer sanatın oluşmasına yol açıyor. Estetik bir toplum olma yolunda topluma değer katacak, beğeni düzeylerini yükseltecek ürünler verme yolunda (Schillerin, estetik birey, estetik toplum, estetik devlet olma yolunda) sanatçıya ve herkese büyük sorumluluk düşer.
In everyday life and visual arts, painting and writing are used to express thoughts and emotions. The artist, using the characteristics of the age in which he lives, demonstrates his individual outstanding abilities in a creative way. The artist achieves expression by forming his works at the level of abstract concepts with the ability to mind and intuitively perceive the world with the forms that carry originality. In science and art, abstract thinking made the artist compelled to use conceptual and abstract language. The abstract art flows, such as De Stijl, which began in art with Kubism, led to radical changes in the artists' thinking and expression forms. The size that the De Stijl artists have given to the typography is inspired by giving the original expression and shape to their later and present artists. The artists are in an effort to add dimensions to the sense of communication, concepts and codes in the context of the form content with typography. The art of typography leads to the formation of intermediate art in the digital context of today’s visual communication. In the way to become an aesthetic society, it will add value to society, and in the way to deliver products that will raise the levels of pleasure (in the way to become Schillerin, aesthetic individual, aesthetic society, aesthetic state), the artist and everyone are great responsibilities.
