Abstract:

In recent years, the problems with refugees and refugees have held a wide place in the agenda of Turkey and the world. The problems of refugees in the health sector lead to more complex problems and confusion. The aim of the study is to evaluate the viewpoint of healthcare staff to refugees and to present solutions to problems. The study includes 13 staff working in different hospitals in the province of Ankara. These staff are served as security, nurses, health technicians, parents, health administrators, translators and doctors. Interviews were conducted and a semi-configured interview technique was used. In the interview, they asked what problems they have faced with so far and what the solutions to these problems are proposed. As a result of the discussions, the problem most mentioned was the problem of communication with refugees due to language differences. The talks also stated that refugees are experiencing identity problems and want to be follow-up examinations, they are experiencing problems when they are paid ill, the intensity of refugees, the lack of hygiene behavior, they do not comply with the order of examinations and they are crowded. In addition to these problems, they are very crowded to the patient's visit, they are not able to access the address information in the fee to be made for payment, they want to come out of the province and be examined and they expect the opposite party to know their own languages.
