Abstract:

It has been an important settlement throughout history. The experience of many different cultures has led to the formation of a rich kitchen culture. The meals made in the special days celebrated by the society have always held an important place in the Konya cuisine culture. This research is aimed at gathering and recording information about the culture of the kitchen, facing faces to faces with people of a certain age living in Konya. The study revealed that people who participated in the work paid much attention to the kitchen culture in terms of being a family and being socialized. Moreover, a significant part of the participants that the awards made in special days were not lived today and began to change. The foods made in the past have changed today, according to the participants.
