Abstract:

In all areas of his life, man has shared the world with domestic and wild animals. In the first instance, humans saw animals as hunting and hunting. After that, he began to see the animals as a companion, property and source of faith. The first works of art also began to appear thanks to these inspiring features of animals. The most important foot of these art works are wall paintings and figures made of cooked soil. In the Neolithic Age, the production of cooked soil has increased with the entrance of cylinders into human life. The subject of this article is a group of cooked land animal figures in the Sanlıurfa Museum, which are the discoveries that date between the Last Calculate Age and the Iron Age. Animals from cooked soil are among the least studied groups among the archaeological works. Animal figures are predicted to be produced for the purposes of totem, cult, blessing, efficiency as a theme. Represented animals are mainly bird, sheep, goat, dog and bird figures.
