Abstract:

Music education, in which cognitive, sensual achievements as well as psychomotor skills are in the forefront, is a process that requires a long and rigorous study in which technical and musical challenges are in weight. It is known that the failure to overcome the technical and musical difficulties encountered in music education has a negative impact on student performance and success. At this point, learning strategies have been revealed in music education and play education by scientific studies in which the student consciously follows his own learning, self-control, developmental and supporting contribution to his evaluation. The aim of this study is to study the Graduate theses and articles published in Turkish on learning strategies in the field of music education. The study has been studied in terms of the year, the subject, research models, working groups, data collection tools, with postgraduate theses on learning strategies in music education. In the study, the document examination model included in the quality research was used. It is believed that the results of the study will contribute to literature and will lead to the work that will be done in this field. Based on the results of the study, recommendations were made.
