Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of studying the knowledge levels of the last class students who received the course of Turkish and Literature at the Turkish Language and Literature Department of the University of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir. According to the purpose developed by the researcher, the Degree of Identification of the Information Level of Çağatay Turkish and Literature was applied to 137 students who received the course of Çağatay Turkish in the Turkish Language and Literature Department of the University of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir in the 2018-2019 educational year. The data obtained in the computer environment was evaluated through the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The research has found that students have a good level of knowledge about Turkish and Literature. According to the information obtained from the student's work, the student's academic score average in the first semester is 76.20 in the second semester 82. The outcome is parallel with the assessments of the teachers and the students in their assessment, and is also an indication that the course has achieved the purpose. The study also found that there were no differences in the level of knowledge of the Turkish and Literary language according to the gender and age of the students.
