Abstract:

Effective social services interventions for the development of the community in rural areas require specialization specific to the rural area. At this point, one of the main foundation points in the center of micro, mezzo and macro-level interventions of social services professionals is culture. In particular, culture, which shapes traditional practices, beliefs, values, relations patterns and forms of communication, plays a key role in achieving locality. Understanding the local context in social services practices is very important in the determination of local needs, problems and resources. Therefore, it is important to develop services that are sensitive to the cultural characteristics of the rural area in rural social services practices and that rural practitioners are also culturally competent. The main objective of the current work is to explain the importance of cultural capacity for the development of the community in the rural area from the perspective of social service. As a result of this aggregation study, social services professionals may be advised to see the development of cultural competencies as part of lifelong learning; recognizing the culture of each group of dealers, they may accept that differences are wealth.
