Abstract:

Logic is one of the most important mechanisms which make human beings susceptible to the errors. Logic can be defined as an internal device that leads to mental activity in order to distinguish right from wrong and to correct mistakes. Translator translates items with his own thoughts in his mind and builds them logically again. He uses many characteristic features of language and knowledge capital depending on the main idea of the source text. In this process, it should be noted if the translator understands the source text in line with real purpose or not. The text which is composed by author to understand the thinking of the reader and to make his views the most accessible form is translated considering the same issues by translator. Translator performing mental activities between different disciplines and cultures in a certain intellectual level must reach to an ideal level of impartiality to achieve a successful performance constantly increasing during the translation work. What is meant by the ideal impartiality is the fact that the individuals can’t be completely impartial in their ideas. The tendency toward partiality, a natural state of the human mind, increases its importance in translation work. In this study, we will try to bring into question that the complete impartiality in translation is possible or not and the ideal degree of impartiality in translation can be realized with a number of mental activities as reasoning and intuition.
