Bu çalışmada, geç dönem geleneksel Konya evlerinin bazı ahşap donatı elamanları ve iç mekân planlamasındaki önemi incelenmiştir. Türk evlerinin plan tipleri ve yapısal özellikleri hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiş ve bu bağlamda Konya evlerinin genel özellikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Geleneksel Konya evleri plan açısından genellikle iki katlıdır ve üst kata bir merdivenle çıkılmaktadır. Ailelerin sosyo-ekonomik durumları evlerin genel özelliklerine ve iç mekân düzenlemesinde etkilidir. Söz konusu evlerin yapılış tarzı ve mimari özellikleri dikkate alındığında odaların konumlandırılmasında sofalar ve iç mekân düzenlenmesinde ahşap donatı elemanları önemli rol oynar. Sonuç olarak Konya evlerinin plan tipleri, cephe ve yapısal özellikleri, ahşap donatı elemanları, iç mekân düzenlemeleri incelendiğinde geleneksel Türk evinin genel karakterini yansıttığı görülmektedir.
