Abstract:

This study discussed the attitude of Milaslı Gad Franko, one of Turkish lawyers, in the process of the Mosul issue and the work he has done on this issue. Especially, the issue of Mosul was focused on the work he did in favour of Turkey before and after the CEMIT-i Akvâm and was very unknown. Therefore, in the entry part of the study, the question of Mosul was briefly mentioned until the Community went to Akvâm. In addition, this section provides very short biographical information about Milasli Gad Franko. In the first part of the study, the issue of Mosul is to go to the Community of Akvâm, the studies that Turkey has done against this development, the Turkey has put into force international law on this issue, the application of expert opinions has been revealed using both archive documents and the press of the period. In the second part of the study, it is included the studies that Milaslı Gad Franko, whom he was appointed as a consultant, has done on the issue of the Mosul issue. In this context, information was given in the light of the documents on the "tetkât" made by Milasli Gad Franko in France and Switzerland and the "tenbihât" given to the Turkish delegation. In the result of the study, the work of Milaslı Gad Franko, who was in important work in the benefit of Turkey in the process of the Mosul issue, was evaluated, comments were made, a series of results were achieved.
