Tarım ve küçük üreticilik meselesi tarihsel süreçte tüm toplumların üzerinde önemle durduğu meselelerin başında gelmektedir. İnsanlığın yerleşik hayata geçmesinden günümüze dek pek çok değişim ve dönüşüm geçiren tarımsal üretim sisteminin en önemli ayağını küçük üreticiler oluşturmaktadır. Gerek dünya geneline gerekse Türkiye tarımına bakıldığında, tarımsal üretimin büyük bir bölümünün küçük üreticiler tarafından gerçekleştirildiği görülebilmektedir. Bu bağlamda ele alınacak olan bu çalışmada, Türkiye tarımsal sisteminin genel bir çerçevesi çizilerek bu sistem içinde en önemli noktayı oluşturan küçük üreticilerin hayatta kalma süreçlerini nasıl oluşturdukları ve yönettikleri anlaşılmaya çalışılacaktır. Küçük üreticiler tarımda ortaya çıkan tüm olumsuz gelişmelere karşın geçmişten gelen kültürel motiflere sarılarak ve yeni değişen şartlara göre strateji belirleme yeteneklerini kullanarak halen güçlü bir biçimde Türkiye tarımsal sistemi içerisindeki varlıklarını devam ettirmeyi başarabilmektedirler.
The issue of agriculture and small-production comes to the forefront of the issues that are important to all societies in the historical process. Small producers are the important footsteps of the agricultural production system, which has passed many changes and transformations from the transition of humanity to the built-in life to the present day. If it is necessary for the whole world to look at Turkey’s agriculture, it can be seen that a large portion of agricultural production is carried out by small producers. In this study, which will be discussed in this context, a general framework of the Turkish agricultural system will be designed to understand how small producers who form an important point within this system create and manage the survival processes. Despite all the negative developments that occur in agriculture, small farmers are able to continue their existence in Turkey’s agricultural system in a strong way by taking into account past cultural motives and using their strategic determination capabilities according to new conditions.
The issue of agriculture and small-scale production is one of the most important issues of all nations in the historical process. Small producers constitute the most important pillar of the agricultural production system, which has undergone many changes and transformations, since the humanity has adopted a sedentary life. When looking at both the world and Turkey, it can be seen that large part of agricultural production has been maintained by small producers. In this study, which will be discussed in this context, a general framework of Turkey's agricultural system will be drawn and tried to understand how they create and manage the process of survival of small producers that make up the most important point in this system. Despite all the negative developments in agriculture, small producers can still be strongly able and successful on maintaining their existence in agricultural system in Turkey by embracing the cultural patterns of the past and using the ability of identifying strategies in the face of new/changing conditions.
