Bu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde Cumhuriyetten günümüze (1924-2017) Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programlarında değişen iyi vatandaşlık algısını ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, Cumhuriyetten günümüze Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programları incelendiği için tarama modeli içerisinde yer alan tarihsel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen dokümanlar (Cumhuriyetten günümüze yayınlanmış Sosyal Bilgiler Programları), betimsel analiz yöntemine dayalı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına genel olarak bakıldığında, Sosyal Bilgiler programlarının geçmişten günümüze vatandaşlık aktarımını ön plana aldığı görülmüştür. Bu doğrultuda programlardaki iyi vatandaşlık algısı: “cumhuriyet ideolojisini benimsemiş, milletine ve devletine karşı görev ve sorumluluklarını bilen, eski tarihi kişiliklerin hayatlarını tanıyan, ülkesi için canla başla mücadele eden ve bunu yaşamında bir ülkü ve inanç haline getiren, üretken, hak ve sorumluluklarını bilen, demokrasinin gelişmesine katkı sağlayan insanlar yetiştirmek” olarak yer almıştır.
The aim of this study is to reveal the good perception of citizenship that changes from the Republic to the present (1924-2017) in the Social Information Teaching Programs in our country. In this direction, the study used the historical method included in the scanning model because the Social Information Teaching Programs were studied from the Republic to the present day. The documents obtained in the study (Social Information Programs published from the Republic to the present) were analyzed on the basis of the visual analysis method. Given the results of the study in general, it has been shown that social information programs are taking the transfer of citizenship from the past to the present. In this regard, the good perception of citizenship in the programs included: "educating people who have adopted the republic's ideology, who know their responsibilities and responsibilities to their nation and state, who know the lives of ancient historical personalities, who struggle with life for their country and who make it a country and a belief in their lives, who know their rights and responsibilities, who contribute to the development of democracy."
The purpose of this research is to reveal the changing perception of ‘good citizenship’ in the social studies teaching programs from the foundation of the republic to nowadays (1924-2017). The historic method, which is one of the survey models, was used in the study since the social studies teaching programs were analysed from the foundation of the republic to nowadays. The acquired documents (the social studies teaching programs published from the foundation of the republic to nowadays) were analysed based on the descriptive analysis method. When the results of the study were evaluated as a whole, it was found out that the social studies teaching programs always emphasized ‘citizenship transmission’ from the past to today. It can be said that the programs included such expressions related to the perception of ‘good citizenship’ as bringing up productive individuals who have adopted the republic ideology; know their responsibilities, rights and tasks for their nation; recognize the old historically important people; are always ready to do their best for his nation; and contribute to the development of democracy.
