İlkokul Hayat Bilgisi Dersi Öğretim Programı İçin Öğretmenlerin Görüşlerine Göre Ortaya Çıkan İhtiyaçlar

Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen görüşlerine göre ilkokul hayat bilgisi dersi öğretim programına yönelik ihtiyaçları belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışmasına uygun olarak yürütülen çalışmada örnekleme tekniği olarak amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Çalışma 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında Denizli ilinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu lisans veya doktora eğitimi almış 8 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları kullanılmıştır. Veriler öğretmenlerle yapılan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda hayat bilgisi dersi öğretim programı kapsamında öğretmen görüşlerine göre ortaya çıkan ihtiyaçlar dört tema olarak belirlenmiştir. Temalar “yaşam becerileri”, “etkili vatandaşlık”, “farklılıklar” ve “değerler”dir. Yaşam becerileri temasında öğrencilerin günlük yaşamlarında ihtiyaç duyacakları özbakım, etkili iletişim, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerini kullanma gibi beceriler üzerinde durulmuştur. Etkili vatandaşlık temasında bireylerin demokrasi bilincini kazanması, hak ve özgürlüklerinin bilincinde olması sıklıkla altı çizilen noktalardandır. Farklılıklar temasında bireysel, bölgesel ve kültürel farklılıkların önemine değinilirken, değerler temasında insani ve milli değerlerden bahsedilmiştir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the needs of the primary school life knowledge curriculum according to the teacher's opinions. In the study conducted in accordance with the study of quality research methods, the sample technique used for the purposes of the sample methods. The study was conducted in the Denizli province in the 2017-2018 educational year. The research work group consists of 8 class teachers who have received a bachelor or doctoral degree. The semi-configured conversation forms developed by researchers as a data collection tool have been used. The data was obtained through semi-configured conversations with teachers. In the analysis of data, content analysis is used. According to the study, the needs arising from the teacher’s opinions in the course of the life knowledge curriculum are defined as four themes. The themes are: “Life Skills”, “Effective Citizenship”, “Diversities” and “Values”. Life skills are focused on the skills students will need in their daily lives, such as self-service, effective communication, information and communication technologies. The fact that individuals gain awareness of democracy and are aware of their rights and freedoms in the subject of effective citizenship is often one of the six points drawn up. While the importance of individual, regional and cultural differences in the subject of differences is highlighted, human and national values are discussed in the subject of values.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to determine the needs for the Primary Life Studies curriculum according to the teachers’ opinion. Criterion sampling was used as a qualitative research sampling technique in the study. The working group constitutes 8 primary school teachers who have master or doctoral degree in Denizli. The data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with teachers. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, according to the opinions of teachers within the curriculum of Life Studies lesson, four themes; "Skills of living", "Effective Citizenship", "Differences" and "Values". The sub-themes of the theme of life skills are "Self-Care", "Effective Communication", "Information and Communication Technologies", "Practical Non School Nature Activities", "Play" and "Socialization". The sub-theme of effective citizenship is "Consciousness of Democracy", "Rights and Freedoms", "Consciousness for Living Together". The sub-themes of the theme of differences are "Individual", "Regional" and "Cultural". Values are defined as "Human Values" and "National Values".
