Araştırmada, lise öğrencilerinin eğitim aldıkları ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim okullarını fırsat ve imkân eşitliği açısından nasıl algıladıklarını tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, nedensel karşılaştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Burdur ili merkez ortaöğretim kurumlarında öğrenim gören öğrenciler üzerinde yapılan araştırmanın verileri, “Eğitimde Fırsat ve İmkân Eşitliği Ölçeği” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada; yüzde, frekans gibi betimleyici analizler ve Tek Yönlü Manova analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; cinsiyete, okul türüne ve yaşanılan yerin kır kent olmasına göre lise öğrencilerinin fırsat ve imkân eşitliği algılarının anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Kız, meslek lisesi dışındaki okul türünde eğitim alan ve kentte yaşayan öğrencilerin ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kademesinde eğitim aldıkları okulları fırsat ve imkân eşitliği açısından daha yeterli algıladıkları saptanmıştır. Araştırmada, ulaşılan sonuçlar doğrultusunda önerilere yer verilmiştir.
In this study, it is aimed to determine how the secondary school students perceive primary schools and secondary schools in which they received their education in terms of equality of opportunity and possibility. Causal-comparative model is used for this research. The data of the research, which was conducted on the secondary school students in the city center of Burdur, was collected through the "Scale of Equality of Opportunity and Possibility in Education". Descriptive analyses such as percentage and frequency and One-Way Manova analysis were used in the study. As a result of this study, it was understood that the perceptions of secondary school students regarding equality of opportunity and possibility varied based on gender, type of school and whether the place of living is rural or urban. It was determined that the students, who received education in a type of school except for women's vocational secondary school and live in the city, perceived their primary and secondary school to be more sufficient in terms of the equality of opportunity and possibility. This study includes suggestions in line with the acquired results.
