Abstract:

Today, the importance given to health and safety at work has increased with the increase in occupational accidents and occupational diseases. The importance of this subject, which has not been sufficiently focused on in recent years, has forced both employers and employees to the process of adaptation. However, despite the difficulties that occur, the formation of a culture of occupational health and safety will provide advantages for employees and employers, and will reduce the rates of occupational accidents and occupational illnesses in. This study identified 11 criteria that experts should pay attention to health and safety at work in the food industry. The weight of the criteria is assessed by the Methods of Multi-Critical Decision Making (MCCV) and Step-wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA). In terms of health and safety at work, it is determined which criteria the parties of the subject, including employers, should pay more attention to in the first place. As a result of the evaluation, both methods showed the same results.
