The aim of this study is to determine to what degree the university students made use of the vocational guidance services in primary and high school levels, the vocational guidance services taken in high school level and their frequency, the factors influencing choice of occupation and students' level of wish for changing their present occupations. The sample of the study is consisted of 191 undergraduate students from faculty of education in METU. Vocational Guidance-Taking Service Questionnaire, developed by the researcher, was used as the data collecting instrument. The results of the study point out that students couldn't get the necessary vocational guidance services in primary and high school, families are of the essence in students' choice of occupation, and the students not having made their own choices seem to change their occupations in high proportion.
