The magazine press, which is developed with the spread of the understanding of the boulevard journalism, has been accepted as a reflection of popular culture all over the world today and has increased its effect on the media. With the gaining importance of magazines in the media, ethical issues have begun to be discussed intensively. While criticisms on standards, quality and accuracy of news have increased, the reasons such as interference in private life and privacy, relations with news sources, and rating-circulation concerns have significantly reduced the confidence in journalists. This has revealed ethical rules and concepts as well as subject of self-control in the press, and therefore in the magazine press. The purpose of this study is to reveal how the magazine news are interpreted and positioned by magazine journalists, by looking at magazine and ethics relationship from a different perspective. Depth interview method has been used in the study. In this scope, 13 magazine correspondents working in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir were interviewed and the data obtained was evaluated.
