The purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes of prospective teach- ers in education faculties attending to different departments. The participants of the study are the 196 prospective teachers attending to class teacher, social studies teacher and Secondary Education In Social Science Studies Programs and Secondary Education In Science & Mathematics Programs in Afyon Kocatepe University Edu- cation Faculty. As a result of the attitudes of prospective teachers display differ- ences are evaluated and analyzed in regard of different variables. It is determined that the attitudes of the prospective teachers are quite high towards their profession. With the result that the obtained data were evaluated, some suggestions have been proposed.
