Uşak, Ege Bölgesi’nin İçbatı Anadolu bölümünde yer alan küçük bir yerleşim yeridir. Geçmişte birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapan bölge, farklı dönemlere ait sayısız tarihi eseri bünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Araştırma konumuzu oluşturan ahşap tavanlı cami bu eserlerden birisidir. Uşak İlinin güneybatısında bulunan Karahallı İlçesi’ne bağlı bir köy olan Kavaklı Köyü’nde bulunan cami, kitabesine göre XIX. yüzyılın ikinci yarısına tarihlenmektedir. Yapı plan ve ahşap örtüsü ile özgünlüğünü korumaktadır. Bu çalışma ile amaçlanan tarihe tanıklık etmiş olan Kavaklı Köyü Camisi’nin belgelenmesini sağlamaktır.
Uşak is a small settlement located in the Inwestern Anatolian part of the Egean region. The region, which has hosted many civilizations in the past, is home to numerous historical works of different periods. The wooden roof mosque that forms our research location is one of these works. The mosque in Kavaklı Village, which is a village linked to the Karahallı district, located in the southwestern part of the Uşak Province, according to its book, XIX. It dates to the second half of the century. The structure preserves its originality with the plan and wood cover. The aim of this work is to ensure the documentation of the Kavaklı Village Mosque, which has witnessed the history.
