So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

The aim of the study was to examine leadership styles of school pricinples according to opinions of teachers. The study was designed as a quantitative survey model. The data were gathered via “School Principal Leadership Style Scale” developed by Akan, Yıldırım and Yalçın (2014). The population of the study consisted of 3200 teachers who were working in state schools in Tepebaşı district of Eskişehir province during 2016-2017 academic year. Proportionate stratified random sampling was used in the study and  the sample consisted of 400 teachers including primary school teachers, teachers from different branches and teachers of vocational courses. SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency, percentage, independent samples t-test and one-way between-groups analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze the data. Scheffe test was used to examine the sources of differences among the groups when the results of ANOVA statistically significant. The findings of the study revealed that the level of transactional leadership style of school principals was “high”, the level of transformational and laissez faire leadership style of school principals were “moderate”. There weren’t any statistically significant results in terms of gender and school type variables. However there was statistically significant result in terms of branch variable.
