Bu araştırmanın amacı sosyal beceri eğitiminin psikolojik danışman adaylarının sosyal beceri ve psikolojik iyi olma düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma deneysel desende tasarlanmıştır ve araştırma kapsamında 2x3’lük split-plot karışık desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel verileri Yüksel tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlaması yapılan “Sosyal Beceri Envanteri” ve Cenkseven tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlaması yapılan “Psikolojik İyi Olma Ölçekleri” kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular sosyal beceri eğitim programına katılan psikolojik danışman adaylarının sosyal beceri ve psikolojik iyi olma düzeylerinin anlamlı düzeyde yükseldiğini göstermiştir. İki aylık bir aranın ardından gerçekleştirilen izleme ölçümünde, uygulama etkisinin anlamlılığını korumaya devam ettiği sonucu bulunmuştur.
In this study, the "impact of social skills training on the social skills and psychological well-being levels of candidates for psychological consultants" was studied by experimental method. The research was experimental and used as a "2x3 split-plot mixed pattern". The social skills training program developed to enhance the social skills and psychological well-being levels of psychological consultants candidates was prepared and applied to the experimental group taking into account "cognitive approach, behavioral approach, human approach and social cognitive learning model". There was no experimental operation to the control group. Quantitative data of the study were obtained using the "Social Skills Inventory" adapted to Turkish by Yüksel (1997) and the "Psychological Wellbeing Scales" adapted to Turkish by Cenkseven (2004). When the findings obtained from the study were examined, it was found that the levels of social skills and psychological well-being of candidates who participated in the social skills training program significantly increased at the end of the application. The social skills and levels of psychological well-being at the end of the application did not differ significantly from the measurement results in the monitoring study two months later, meaning the effect of the application continued.
In this research, the effect of social skill education on success level of social skill and psychological well-being of the psychological counselor candidates was examined. The research was an experimental design, and “2x3 split plot design” was used Quantitative data of the research are obtained by using “Social Skill Inventory” which is adaptation to Turkish by Yüksel and Success Scales of “Psychological Well-being” which is adaptation to Turkish by Cenkseven. When findings obtained from this research are examined, significantly increasing is observed on the success level of social skill and psychological well-being in the end of implementation and post-implementation. Continuation of the effect which is found in post-implementation is determined when there is no differentiation in measurement analysis of the success level of social skill and psychological well-being in post-implementation.
