Lur-i Kuchuk or Atabeg of Lesser Luristan had established centered Hurremabad in West İran between 12th and 16th centuries. The dynasty is also known as Hurshidids because of its founder and commander Shucauddin Hurshid. Atabeg of Luristan was exposed to attacks of the Turkmen and Mongols during intensive political struggles. The ruler İzzeddin Mohammed did have not a son or a brother, therefore Dawlat Khatun started to reign the Luristan after his death. Dawlat Khatun who became the first female ruler had to relinquish from throne because of the Mongol pressure. Then her brother İzzeddin Hosein acceded to the throne. The aim of study is to explain with historical sources this female ruler’s political activities who made an impression in the Medieval İran.
