Abstract:

Organization stress is one of the most heavily studied topics in literatüre. Individuals are constantly exposed to stress while performing certain responsibilities and activities in organizations. This situation causes many problems for organizations. Identifying sources of stress is very important for prevention stress and resolving the problems caused by stress. Organizational stress sources of an organization are interpersonal relations, physical conditions, organizational policies and organizational structure. As a result of organizational stress, many problems arised. The most important of these problems is poor performance. In this study, the sources of organizational-related stress and major problems caused by organizational stress are discussed. In this direction the sources of organizational-related stress examined as centralization, overspecialization, overworkload, lack of progress and development opportunities and bureaucratic obstacles, the major problems caused by organizational stress examined as work alienation, absenteeism, occupational accidents, poor performance, economic costs and turnover and supported by literature.
