Makalede çağdaş Azerbaycan-Özbek sanat ilişkileri, özellikle şiirde ortak gelişim özellikleri, her iki halkın şairlerinin sanatında konu, fikir ve içerik, üslup enlemleri inceleme objesidir. Tarihi folklora dayalı çağdaş Azerbaycan ve Özbek sanat ilişkilerinde 20. Yüzyılın 60`lar edebi akımı 70 yıl Sovyetler asaretinde bulunan Azerbaycan ve Özbek halklarının şiirinde dönemin yasak ve takiplerini, Sovyet tipi yaşamı hemin dönemde cesaretle eliştirme ortak sanat ve gelişim özelliklerini ihtiva ettiğinden, Vatan ve Ana dili konuları döneme itiraz içerikliydi. Bu sanat enlemlerinin gelişmesinin genel Türk edebiyatında oynadığı önemli rol ünlü Azerbaycan ve Özbek şairleri Bahtiyar Vahabzade`nin, Halil Rıza Ulutürk`nin, Erkin Vahidov`un, Avdulla Aripov`un, Pauf Perfi`in kalame aldıkları eserlerin ortak özellikleriyle önerilir.
