During his long life, Joaquin Rodrigo has written more than 200 concerts and solo works for orchestra, coro, piano, cement, chello, guitar, flut and many more instruments. Although the contribution of the composer born in Valencia to the guitar repertoire is almost limited to the interpretation of "Concierto de Aranjuez" in the major concert halls today, it holds an important place among the compulsory works of international competitions and conservatives. This wide and productive repertoire of the composer, who is a virtuous pianoist, has been distributed into a fairly wide range compared to the composers of the period. Inspired by different periods and styles, Rodrigo is one of the 20th century composers who expressed the culture and language of the guitar, although he didn’t play the guitar. In this article, I will explore how clear Rodrigo’s productivity influenced the guitar concert “Concierto para una Fiesta”.
